I received my Master’s (MS) in Print Journalism from Boston University and started my career as a reporter for a New York-based business and finance magazine.

As an award-winning personal finance journalist with 10-years experience, my team and I are experts at creating content that integrates your readers’ lifestyle interests, business and financial goals in a way that is easy to digest and engaging.

I founded Brass City Media in 2014 to combine two of my passions—storytelling and educating consumers about finance and business.

I founded Brass City Media in 2014 to combine two of my passions—storytelling and educating consumers about finance and business.

In 2013, I was honored by the National Association of Black Journalists with a Salute to Excellence Award for General Reporting for my 2012 BLACK ENTERPRISE cover story, “BE Next: Masters of Design,” which revealed a new generation of innovators who are using their vision and talent to position industries for the 21st century. I also won a Salute to Excellence Award for Single Topic Series for my work on “BE Financial Fitness Contest.”

Outside of my work at Brass City Media, I am deeply committed to giving back to my community. In fact, that’s why I named Brass City Media after my hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut. Throughout my professional journey, there have been many people who have assisted and mentored me along the way. Now, I strive to help young people develop their skills and leverage them into professional careers.
